Our world has become more and more a virtual reality where almost anything can be purchased  online. Every day I see emails from print-on-demand product and fashion shops I design for that offer amazing bargains for their clients.

Zazzle offered a great bargain when it comes to Posters and Canvas prints. I know how pricey it can be to even have a reproduction printed on canvas.

Its a great opportunity for many artist to see their work displayed on so many products. I’m in the process of preparing more original artworks for my Art gallery on Zazzle, but what about the great masters that have never had that opportunity! Therefore I started a Vintage collection at Zazzle.

I started off with Anton Pieck, He is one of my favorite Dutch artists and was responsible for designing almost everything for fairy tale park known as Efteling in Kaatsheuvel, Holland, now one of the major theme parks in Europe. Over the years I have collected most of his reproduction work and incorporated some into my product designs.

In my childhood years we used to get the Dutch Panorama magazine with Norman Rockwell’s art on the back cover. My sister and I collected every back cover and I have done the same as I have with Anton Pieck.  I was not allowed to post these designs for sale, as I could with the Anton Pieck art my mother owned and I inherited. I incorporated with my own graphics.

I’m not short of design ideas, but I must still find a niche that most online customers go for, like my Fantasy themes, or my African Art designs on products, or like a bumper sticker on South Africa, which was originally a carving done on leather. I saw that I sold my first shoes with an African flavor design, so I hope the customer will be happy with his or her choice.
